Three Simple Steps by Trevor Blake

Step 1 – Control your mentality

Step 2 – Taking quiet time and connecting with nature.

?Meditation, spend time in nature (even walking the block, open a window to let the sun in, plants, frequent breaks outside). Once a week spend an hour immersed in nature (beach, national park, etc…) spend time walking, sitting, taking in the view.

Step 3 – Set intentions

He actively requests in the intro to share your own success stories from implementing the Three Simple Steps (points to website but probably most appropriate on his facebook group).

Beautiful story of his mother and her indomitable will.

Most of all, she taught me that my thoughts and actions are my own responsibility, and that only I can decide how to feel about anything. “No one can make you feel sad or angry,” she would admonish. “This is a choice you make for yourself as a reaction to the situation you perceive. You can just as easily choose to ignore or laugh about it.””

This bolded sentence is really critical. We are put on this earth. We might as well choose to make the best of what we have.

“You must choose your own thoughts and the reactions you have to them.”

“Reclaiming mentality is simple and anyone can do it, starting right now.”

Business advice from Rathman:

“You don’t know what business you’re in until you get into business!… Just get started. The rest works itself out.”

Controlling menatality:

Be FOR things rather than against.

Every time you say something like “I’m feeling depressed” or “I feel down today,” you are simply adding to your burden.

Don’t complain. Don’t get baited into complaining.

Writing and signing mentality contract (yes I did it!)

Setting intentions –

Past tense (i.e you achieved it).

Positive.

“I think of my pen like a magic wand”
